Warranty Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. 30-Day Limited Warranty
970 Tech Solutions provides a 30-day limited warranty on both parts and workmanship for repairs we perform. This is a 30-day warranty, not 90 days. The warranty period begins on the date your repair is completed (for local repairs) or the date your repaired device is shipped back to you (for mail-in repairs).
2. What Voids This Warranty
This warranty is void if any of the following occur after our repair is completed:
- Water or liquid damage occurs after the repair
- Physical damage occurs after the repair (drops, impacts, crushing, etc.)
- Unauthorized repair attempts by anyone other than 970 Tech Solutions
- Cracked screens resulting from drops after the repair
- Customer misuse of the device
- Software issues unrelated to the original repair
- Normal wear and tear
3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- Pre-existing damage that was not part of the original repair
- Cosmetic issues (scratches, scuffs, discoloration) not related to the repair performed
- Battery degradation that occurs naturally over time
4. Filing a Warranty Claim
All warranty claims require inspection of the device at 970 Tech Solutions' discretion before we will perform any repair, replacement, or refund under this warranty. This allows us to confirm the issue is covered and directly related to our original work.
5. Non-Transferable
This warranty is non-transferable. It is valid only for the original customer who received the repair and cannot be transferred to a subsequent owner of the device.
6. Mail-In Warranty Claims & Shipping
For mail-in warranty claims: the customer is responsible for return shipping costs to 970 Tech Solutions. If the claim is found to be covered under this warranty, 970 Tech Solutions will pay the cost of shipping the device back to the customer once the covered repair is complete.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability under this warranty is limited strictly to the cost of the original repair. In no case will our liability under this warranty exceed the amount you paid for the specific repair in question.
8. No Consequential Damages
970 Tech Solutions is not liable for lost data, lost business, lost income, or any other indirect or consequential damages arising from a repair or the failure of a repair. Customers are strongly encouraged to back up all data prior to any repair.
9. Governing Law
This Warranty Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado.
